I believe manipulatives and visuals can and should be used in every content area. Especially with so many English language learners in my classroom, as well as special education students, I strive to incorporate visuals and hands-on learning in all lessons across all content areas. Students can make more authentic connections when they have visuals or are engaged in meaningful activities.
